Kokolishi Recreational Biking was founded from the need to have biking tours
with a recreational purpose starting from the neighbourhood of Schelpwijk. The name of the club is derived from the papiamentu word "Kokolishi" which means "schelp" in dutch and conch in english and this points to the neighbourhood Schelpwijk from where it originated. The group consists of approximately 35 bikers touring the surroundings of Schelpwijk every Wednesday afternoon and Saturday morning. Starting point is the parking lot of the former "Big One" at the Bonam-/Gosieweg. Anybody who has his own bike and not interested in "speed" biking is welcome to join. For
